On May 13, 2025, the project coordination partner, ICCS, had the pleasure and honour of hosting a guest lecture on the latest scientific evidence on climate change, by the Chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), Sir Jim Skea, at the premises of National Technical University of Athens.
Many academics and researchers from NTUA and other universities, as well as NGOs, think tanks, and media had the chance to follow Jim Skea’s presentation on the role and processes of the IPCC. He discussed the three goals of the Paris Agreement vis-à-vis the work of the three Working Groups and the latest findings of the 6th Assessment Report (AR6), before delving into the structure and outlines of the 7th Assessment Cycle (AR7).
