The DIAMOND consortium is proud to announce an important milestone: the first draft open releases of six integrated assessment models (IAMs) that are emblematic in both scientific and policy processes. These early releases mark a step forward in the project’s mission to provide robust, transparent, and accessible tools for the global climate change mitigation research and policy community.
The models now available as open access include:
- OMNIA
- GCAM-Europe
- CLEWs-EU
- GEMINI-E3-EU
- NEMESIS World (database)
- OPEN-PROM
The draft model versions are released early to foster transparency and invite feedback from the international modelling community. Updated and final versions will follow in the coming months as DIAMOND continues to refine and expand the models, as well as to integrate tools and insights from other scientific fields.
This milestone underscores the DIAMOND project’s dedication to building an open and collaborative foundation for integrated assessments, enabling researchers and policymakers alike to better address global challenges in the nexus of climate, energy, and economy.
